Sarah & Tom
Sarah and Tom’s ceremony was held in St Gile’s Cathedral, before they were shuttled in Rikshaws down to the Archers’ Hall for the reception.
The roses for the bridal flowers were a gift from one of the bridesmaids, flown all the way from Kenya. Astrantia collected from friends in the borders, wax flower and eucalyptus were the other ingredients of the bridal flowers.
Archer’s hall was decorated with candelabra, simply adorned with foraged ivy and roses.
The polled marquee was a triumph, being filled with birch trees and hop garlands from Kent. Simple but really affective lighting turned this marquee into the best party Archer’s Hall had ever seen!
Sarah: “Adelaide was the perfect florist for our wedding day! She was very perceptive to our needs as not only did she understand our vision for a slightly more wild and informal approach to the flowers, but she was able to fulfill the wishes of the mother of the bride as well. She handled all aspects of the wedding flowers; from the delightful head pieces, bouquets and button holes to the decorated candelabra in St Giles Cathedral and playful hanging hops in the marquee – all of which we loved.”
